The day you first meet your child is called "Gotcha Day" Well, we just picked up Kylee. I can't tell you the feeling of holding this precious little girl who just needs a chance. She was very shy at the Adoption Affairs Office but once we got in the van and Lisa gave her a package of fruit snacks she just absolutely opened up. After she ate two she started sharing with Aliya and then Mom. When I asked for one she just grinned and shook her head no. :-) She has the absolute cutest little laugh and giggle. Miss Liu from the orphanage and Kylee were very very close. It tore me up to see the pain on their faces when they parted for the last time. Miss Liu took pictures and made a photo album for us and Kylee, of her life with them. It was so special and is very dear to Kylee. When we got in the van to leave the Adoption Affairs Office, I couldn't find the album. Anna our guide ran back inside to look for it. Where do you think I found it? Tightly clutched under Kylee's arm!! I had to go find Anna and tell here where it was. We just got back to the hotel room and Kylee is so full of love and life. We have already truly been blessed by this little life. We need to complete a little paperwork with Anna in a few minutes then we are just gonna hang here and chill and get to know each other. Tomorrow it is back the AAO to complete fees and paperwork with a notary. I'll keep you posted!!
